The Steering Group
Wolds Words Festival of Reading, Writing and Performance has been attracting audiences to a variety of events and activities since 2001. A community initiative, the Festival has substantial support from the Community Arts & Events Team at East Lindsey District Council and Lincolnshire County Council's Cultural Services Team (Arts Development and Libraries).

Members of the Steering Group represent the following groups:

• Far Welter’d Dialect Society
• Just Write, Local Writers' Group
• Blackbird Flies Theatre Group
• Lincolnshire Storytelling Circle
• Nightingale Poetry & Prose Magazine
• Louth Playgoers Society / Riverhead Theatre

Local schools and freelance writers are also represented on the group.
