Friday 1 October - Lincolnshire Day
Launch of Wolds Words Literary Quiz
Friday 1 October marks the official Lincolnshire Day and,
historically, the date commemorates the Pilgrimage of
Grace, which began in 1536 - the widespread revolt
against the rule of Henry VIII. It also marks 300 days
till the opening of the 2012 London Olympics and
Paralympics and the quiz will have a distinctly Olympic
feel to it! Find the quiz at www.woldswords.org.uk
and have a go at winning some tickets!
